I am very partial to "mon petit chou", a classic French term of endearment!
What is a chou?
A chou is either a cabbage or a cream puff, But "mon petit chou" means "my dear".
Oh. I always thought it meant "My little cabbage". That always cracked me up when I watched love scenes in French movies.
